Giant Trance X 1 Mountain Bike 2024

The Giant Trance X 1 Mountain Bike 2024 features the newly designed Maestro rear suspension system, providing trail riders with 140mm of rear travel. The innovative trunnion mount shock and Advanced Forged Composite rocker arm combination allows for a longer stroke, resulting in a smoother and more active riding experience. Along with increased stiffness in the chassis, this system ensures precise control on any terrain. The rear suspension is complemented by a 150mm travel fork, giving riders the confidence and control needed for technical singletrack. A three-position Maestro flip chip allows for customizable frame geometry to suit any riding style and terrain. The high setting provides more ground clearance, making it ideal for challenging and technical terrain, while the low setting results in a slacker head tube and lower bottom bracket, perfect for faster handling on the trails. The middle position maintains a neutral stance. Additionally, a new headset flip chip enables riders to easily adjust their reach for the optimal riding position.

All versions of the bike include both 29-inch front and rear wheels, but the flip chip allows for a potential combination of a 27.5 inch rear wheel. This setup is commonly known as a “mullet” and is often preferred by riders who tackle steep and challenging terrain, as it offers both stability and agility. Additionally, a 27.5 inch rear wheel allows for more clearance between the saddle and tire, resulting in a more responsive and snappy ride.
