The Giant Trance X 2 Mountain Bike 2024 is equipped with a Maestro rear suspension system, providing riders with 140mm of rear travel. With a trunnion mount shock and Advanced Forged Composite rocker arm, this suspension also offers a smooth and active feel, as well as increased stiffness in the chassis for precise control. Paired with a 150mm travel fork, this bike delivers superior confidence and control on even the most technical singletrack trails. Riders can also fine-tune their frame geometry with the three-position Maestro flip chip, accommodating their individual riding style and terrain. Choose the high setting for added ground clearance on tight and technical trails, or the low setting for a slacker head tube and lower bottom bracket for confident handling at higher speeds. For a neutral option, select the middle position. Additionally, the new headset flip chip allows for easy reach adjustments to achieve your desired riding position.
The Giant Trance X 2 Mountain Bike 2024 offers the option to choose between 29-inch front and rear wheels, or a mixed wheel setup with a 27.5 rear. The 29-inch wheel provides stability and roll-over capabilities, while the 27.5 offers a more agile and responsive feel with increased clearance between the saddle and tire. This “mullet” setup is popular among riders tackling steep, technical terrain.
